Grandma Ruth
Ruth Scarpatti - Nov 11, 1910 - July 4th 2009
Well, well, well—would you look at that? Never in my life have I heard of such a thing! Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, you know I’ve been thinking about you all day, wondering what kind of mischief you’re getting into. If I could, I’d have you right here at my table, a hot cup of coffee in front of you, maybe a little something sweet on the side—because, let’s be honest, you’re too skinny.
Now, don’t just stand there—come sit, tell me everything. I want the whole story, none of this ‘I’m fine’ business. And don’t think I won’t notice if you leave something out—I wasn’t born yesterday, you know. I love you, my darling. Always have, always will. Now, scooch closer, let Grandma in on all the good stuff!
